RIVERSIDE — Michael Cobarrubias scored three goals to pace the Lions in the nonconference game Thursday.

David Buckalew, Joseph Sanders, Tim Sanders, Colt McKitrick and Jason Lee added goals for the winners (2-15).

Christian Carillo made four saves for Vanguard.
