NEWPORT COAST — The Lightning rallied Tuesday with four runs in the seventh inning a day after allowing five runs in that frame and losing in the Anaheim Lions Tournament.
Sage Hill (7-6-1) fell behind 5-0 after one inning against the Lancers of Upland. The Lightning is 2-2 in the tourney. They lost, 7-6, at Upland on Monday.
Parker Reposa went two for four as part of Sage’s 12-hit attack against Western Christian.
The Lightning play host to Laguna Beach Wednesday at 3 p.m., as part of the Anaheim Lions Tournament.

IRVINE — Estancia pitcher Steven Macias (4-1) struck out three in five innings, allowing two earned runs in the Orange Coast League game Tuesday at Windrow Community Park’s Ryan Lemmon Stadium.
Tyler Rios, Andres Hernandez, Brodie Pearce and Steven Macias each went one for three for Estancia (9-3, 4-2 in league), which plays host to Calvary Chapel Thursday at 3:15 p.m.

IRVINE — Remy Lamons had eight kills to help the Sea Kings to a 25-9, 25-16, 25-12 Pacific Coast League win Tuesday.
Joey Martino had seven kills, James Christian added six kills and Thomas Hunter had three kills, three blocks and 10 assists for CdM (15-4, 5-0 in league), ranked No. 2 in the CIF Southern Section Division 2 coaches’ poll.

BUENA PARK — Eagles’ senior Jake Knapp shot two-over-par 37 to earn medalist honors in the nonleague match Tuesday at Los Coyotes Country Club.

HUNTINGTON BEACH — Brian Team scored late on an assist from Alex Opyd for the Sailors in the Sunset League game Tuesday.
Goalie Zac Vayda made 10 saves and had two ground balls and two takeaways.
Luke Toohey won three of four face-offs. Jack Murrel (four takeaways, three knockdowns, two ground balls), Ritter Hagadorn (three ground balls, three takeaways), Andrew Wilson (three ground balls, four knockdowns), Matt Porteous (three groundballs, one takeaway) and Kole Escher (three ground balls) also contributed for Newport Harbor (6-5, 1-1 in league).
The Sailors play host to Temecula Great Oaks Friday at 7:30 p.m.
