Turkey Trot is Thursday

Registration is still available to Laguna Beach residents for the 35th annual Dana Point Turkey Trot. The Thanksgiving Day event includes a 5K, 10K, Kids’ Gobble Wobble, a two-day health and fitness expo, and finish-line festival.

Volleyball clinics continue

Junior Breakers Volleyball Clinics, a series of youth volleyball classes run by Laguna Beach High boys’ volleyball coach Scott Panaro, are underway at the North Gym on the Laguna Beach campus.

The clinics are designed for boys ages 14 and younger and of all skill levels. Clinic dates are: now though Dec. 16 (one clinic per week); now through Dec. 19 (several classes); Nov. 25-Dec. 19 (eight classes, $200).
