Girls’ Basketball: Harbor’s Raimondi, Lopez earn honors

Newport Harbor High juniors Bela Raimondi and Jenny Lopez have earned second-team All-Sunset League honors for girls’ basketball.

Raimondi was second on the team with 5.3 points per game, adding 3.8 rebounds and 1.7 steals. Lopez averaged 3.9 points per game, fourth on the squad, and led the Sailors with 5.6 rebounds and 2.3 steals per contest.

The Sailors finished 4-22, 0-10 in league.

Geena Gomez of Edison won Sunset League MVP honors.
