Breakdown: The Mustangs, coming off last week’s 31-18 victory over Estancia in the Battle for the Bell game, look to start 2-0 in Orange Coast League play and move over .500 for the first time this season ... Costa Mesa is expected to be without senior wide receiver/linebacker Quinton Bell, who suffered a partially collapsed lung in last week’s game. Bell, who sat out the first four games with a hip flexor injury, has played in just two games this year for Costa Mesa ... Godinez opened league play last week with a 42-14 loss to Calvary Chapel ... Last year Godinez beat Costa Mesa for the first time, 23-21. The loss hurt the Mustangs at the end of the season, when they finished fourth in league and failed to make the CIF Southern Section Southern Division playoffs. Godinez finished third in league and made CIF ... Costa Mesa is 3-2 against Godinez since the Grizzlies began fielding varsity teams in 2008. The two losses have come by a combined three points.
