Publication event

Orange Coast College’s journal of literature and art, Orange Coast Review, will stage its 2016 publication event with a gallery exhibit of art, readings, a buffet and books and posters for purchase. The event is from 5 to 7 p.m. at the college’s Frank M. Doyle Arts Pavilion, 2701 Fairview Road, Costa Mesa. The art featured in the event will be on display and open to the public through May 19. ‘Giving Day’

Orange County Community Foundation will host its second annual iheartoc Giving Day from 6 a.m. Wednesday to noon Thursday. Members of the community are invited to donate to their favorite cause over a 30-hour period at iheartoc.org. For more information, call (949) 553-4202.
