Around Town: Corona del Mar High dance team to perform at autism benefit show

Corona del Mar High School’s Orchesis dance team will perform at the Halo Dance Performance on Jan. 23 to help support educational services for families living with autism.

The Halo Foundation, which holds the annual show, was founded by Orchesis director Cami Marseilles in 2011 shortly after her 4-year-old son, Kai, and youngest son, Koa, began to show autism-like symptoms.

The nonprofit foundation helps families affected by autism by educating them about early-intervention therapies and offering financial support for therapies, as needed.
