More than 3,000 children and parents helped raise over $60,000 for Irvine public schools at the second annual STEAM Carnival on April 30 at The Market Place shopping center’s Edwards Courtyard in Irvine.

Proceeds will go toward the Irvine Public Schools Foundation’s efforts to provide programs to students across the Irvine Unified School District.

Activities at the event were related to science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics, including giving guests the chance to play human foosball and experience EON Reality Inc.’s virtual reality booth.
