Dozens of corgis and other dogs showed off their Halloween styles at the fall Corgi Beach Day Saturday in Surf City.

The annual event at Huntington Dog Beach included costume contests for people and their pets, as well as a talent contest for the dogs.

The short-legged, fox-faced dogs from around the country descended on the beach — and downtown — with their owners for what has become an increasingly popular gathering.

Saturday’s event included a Howl-O-Ween costume contest.
