Man’s body found offshore at Huntington Beach
A man’s decomposing body was pulled from the water in Huntington Beach near 11th Street on Friday morning.
A couple strolling along the beach called 911 after they saw the body on a sandbar about 10 feet from the shore, said Huntington Beach Marine Safety Lt. Claude Panis.
The Orange County coroner’s office had not yet identified the body.

Panis said the body somewhat matches the description of Shawn Lim, 18, of Long Beach, who went missing while swimming at Bolsa Chica State Beach on Feb. 25.
