Woman sought in theft of wallet from Fountain Valley Carl’s Jr.

Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a woman suspected of stealing a wallet at a Carl’s Jr. in Fountain Valley.

Fountain Valley police said a woman picked up a wallet that was left on a counter in the Carl’s Jr. restaurant in the 17000 block of Brookhurst Street at about 2:20 p.m. Feb. 24. She then walked out with the wallet, police said.

A credit card that was inside the wallet was later used to make a purchase in Los Angeles, according to police.

A security camera in the restaurant captured photos of the suspect. Police described her as Latino or Middle Eastern, about 30 years old, 5-foot-1, 200 pounds with brown hair. She was wearing a purple shirt, black pants and black boots with fur cuffs.
