Corona del Mar 53, Beckman 47

Natalia Bruening had 17 points, 13 rebounds and five blocks for CdM in Tuesday’s Pacific Coast League game at home.

Krista Anderson had 14 points and 10 rebounds for CdM (13-3, 2-0 in league). Kat Hess had 11 points and nine rebounds, making six of seven free throws in the fourth quarter.

Corona del Mar, ranked No. 4 in CIF Southern Section Division 3A, plays at University on Friday.

Estancia 70, Calvary Chapel 38

Finley Garnett had 23 points and seven steals for Estancia in Tuesday’s Orange Coast League game at home.

Maya Van Den Heever had 16 points and 11 assists for Estancia (11-6, 2-0 in league), and Nefertiti Van Den Heever scored 12 with six assists and six steals.

Estancia plays at rival Costa Mesa on Thursday at 7 p.m. in the first Battle for the Bell game.

Sage Hill 64, Webb 28

Heather Park scored 24 points to lead the Lightning in a nonleague home game on Tuesday.

Kate Knollenberg scored 13 points and Kate Knollenberg added 10 points for Sage Hill.

GIRLS’ SOCCER

Beckman 1, Corona del Mar 0

Goalie Kar Hess made five saves for the Sea Kings in Tuesday’s Pacific Coast League game at CdM.

Beckman scored the game’s only goal in the first three minutes of the second half, dropping CdM to 5-5-5, 0-1-1 in league.

CdM plays at University on Thursday.

Huntington Beach 3, Newport Harbor 2 (OT)

HUNTINGTON BEACH — Sianna Siemonsma and Emily Johnson scored for the Sailors in Tuesday’s Sunset League game on the road.

Newport Harbor (3-7-7, 1-1 in league) plays host to Los Alamitos on Thursday.

BOYS’ BASKETBALL

Beckman 55, Corona del Mar 50

Taeveon Le scored 16 points for the Sea Kings in Tuesday’s Pacific Coast League game at home.

Matt Ctvrtlik scored 12 and Sam Kobrine had 10 for CdM (13-5, 1-1 in league).

The Sea Kings play at University on Friday.

Sage Hill 63, Sage Creek 55

Senior Chance Kuehnel had 15 points, 17 rebounds and three steals for the Lightning in the nonleague home game on Tuesday.

Junior Dominic Sadeghi had 13 points and point guard Alex Toubia added 11 points off the bench for Sage Hill (9-5).

Sage Hill returns to Academy League play Thursday at Calvary Chapel Downey.
