PHOENIX, Ariz. — Melissa Norman had 25 points and 15 rebounds to lead the Lions in the Golden State Athletic Conference game on Saturday.

Maya Kennedy and Samantha Doucette added 11 points each and Kandyce Smith scored nine points for Vanguard (13-3, 5-1 in conference).

Arizona Christian is 9-11, 1-6.

Malachi Hoosein and Myles Smith added 13 points each and Zach Allmon had nine points and 10 rebounds for Vanguard (12-6, 1-5 in conference).
