Free football clinic at Newport Harbor High

A free football clinic, featuring former UCLA Coach Terry Donahue, former Raider Coach Mike White and Newport Harbor High Coach Jeff Brinkley, will take place May 21 at 10 a.m. at NHHS.

The free clinic is for all high school coaches and equipment managers, as well as youth football coaches.

Proper tackling technique and equipment safety training will be the main topics during the clinic.

Todd Hewitt, USC’s equipment manager, will also be on hand with Donahue, White and Brinkley.
