FAYATTEVILLE, Ark. — UC Irvine freshman Lloyd Sicard clipped a hurdle and fell in his 110-meter high hurdles race Saturday and failed to advance to the NCAA Championships.

Sicard was the Big West Conference Freshman of the Year and his best time of 14.01 seconds ranks No. 3 in UCI annals.
