WESTLAKE VILLAGE — Camellia Edalat and Erica Chen swept in doubles to highlight the Sea Kings’ victory in the second round of the CIF Southern Section Division 1 playoffs on Friday.

Jasie Dunk and Danielle Willson won two singles sets each for CdM. Paige and Brooke Kenerson won three doubles sets for the Sea Kings.

CdM will next face San Clemente in the quarterfinals at home on Monday at 2 p.m.

BOYS’ WATER POLO

Newport Harbor 11, Laguna Beach 4

Connor Turnbow-Lindenstadt scored four goals for the Sailors in their nonleague regular-season finale on Friday at Newport Harbor.

Cole Brosnan scored three goals, while Nic Rimlinger and Jackson Westerman added two goals each for the Sailors, who await CIF Southern Section playoff pairings that will be released on Saturday.
