SANTA ANA — Senior Natalia Bruening finished with 12 points in the Sea Kings’ pool-play game at the Segerstrom tournament on Wednesday.

Samantha Uehara had 11 points and Krista Anderson added 10 points.

The Sea Kings (5-2) play Chino Hills Ayala in the tournament on Friday at 4:30 p.m.

Capistrano Valley 48, Newport Harbor 24

MISSION VIEJO — Erik Herrera, a 138-pound senior, was one of five winners for the Sailors during Wednesday’s nonleague dual meet on the road.

Newport Harbor’s other winners were Harrison Reich (145 pounds), Cooper Hendrix (160), Drew Dobbs (220) and Valdemar Gomez (285).
