Saddleback finished third in league last year to earn a CIF playoff berth, while Estancia was fourth and missed the postseason ... The Eagles are coming off blowout road losses against University and Sunny Hills, in which they were outscored by a combined total of 101-21 ... Estancia has lost four straight games overall since opening the season with a 44-20 win over Loara ... Estancia Coach Mike Bargas said that two starters on the offensive line, junior left tackle Jay Enciso and junior right guard Francisco Zamora, won’t play this week due to knee injuries ... Bargas said that junior linebacker Hunter Mensinger is “iffy” to play, also with a knee injury ... Saddleback is coming off a 33-14 loss to Los Amigos ... The Roadrunners like to run the ball and it was Perea who had a big game last week, with 172 yards rushing and a touchdown ...
