Brendan Tran added three goals for Huntington Beach (5-2), ranked No. 4 in CIF Southern Section Division 1. The Oilers begin play at the South Coast Tournament on Thursday.

LONG BEACH — Tamir Avital had three goals for the Sea Kings in Tuesday’s nonleague game at Belmont Plaza.
TJ Morton, Henry Wilde and Mitchell Cooper each scored twice for CdM. Will Rodosky, Nick Britt and Joe Rosensitto had one goal each.
Will Ueberroth had four steals and two assists for CdM (1-1), ranked No. 7 in CIF Southern Section Division 1. The Sea Kings begin play at the South Coast Tournament on Thursday.
Estancia 13, La Quinta 3
Alex Epperson and Jason Chesemore each scored four goals for the Eagles in Tuesday’s nonleague game at Estancia High.
Teagan Proctor added two goals, and Chris Bauer, Eizik Leyva and Dion Howard all put in one. Cobi White had six steals and five assists.
Leyva and Epperson had two saves each.
Newport Harbor 17, San Clemente 10
Connor Turnbow-Lindenstadt had six goals for the Sailors, who improved to 4-1 on the season after Tuesday’s nonleague win at Newport Harbor High.
Jackson Westerman and Makoto Kenney both scored twice, and Max Sandberg made seven saves.
Newport Harbor, ranked No. 8 in CIF Southern Section Division 1, plays in the South Coast Tournament beginning Thursday.

Nicole Nesbitt earned medalist honors for the Sailors after shooting three-over-par 37 at Costa Mesa Country Club’s Mesa Linda course in a nonleague match on Tuesday.
Siobhan Inch (48), Julia Gregory (45), Jaelyn Cooper (47) and Hannah Hiramoto (47) also scored for Newport Harbor (1-3).
Bella Rosete (43) shot the low for Estancia (2-1).

Jillian Zuniga shot 56, the low for the Mustangs in the Orange Coast League match at Ben Brown’s Golf Course on Tuesday.

Academy League Cluster Meet
Maya Jaffe finished second in 19:28.78 and Ashton Carroll in 19:30.12 took third to lead Sage Hill School to first place at Mason Park on Tuesday.
Julia Lowe was sixth in 19:50.34.
Alice Warden was 11th in 20:16.63, and Olivia Lowe was 12th in 20:30.81.

Kylen Patel finished 16th for Sage Hill School in 16:57.36 at Mason Park on Tuesday.
The Lightning came in fourth.
