Jasie Dunk swept in singles for the Sea Kings in Friday’s CIF Southern Section Division 1 second-round playoff match at Fountain Valley High.

Danielle Willson won twice in singles for top-seeded CdM (21-0). Camellia Edalat swept in doubles with partners Brooke Kenerson and Grace Jennings, while the doubles teams of Shaya Northrup and Izzy Dajee, as well as Bella McKinney and Emily Freyman, also won twice.

Hanh Pham won twice in singles for Fountain Valley (12-8).

CdM plays at Dana Hills in a Division 1 quarterfinal match on Monday.

BOYS’ WATER POLO

Newport Harbor 11, Laguna Beach 6

Makoto Kenney, Connor Turnbow-Lindenstadt, Jason Grew and Jackson Westerman all scored twice for the Sailors in Friday’s regular-season finale at Newport Harbor High.

Max Sandberg had eight saves and three steals for Newport Harbor (18-8), ranked No. 7 in CIF Southern Section Division 1.

Judge Washer, Colton Gregory and Larsen McCarroll all scored two goals for Laguna Beach (18-9), the top-ranked team in Division 2.

The Sailors and Breakers both await the release of the CIF playoff brackets Saturday at 10 a.m.
