High School Roundup: Sage Hill wins quarterfinal

Sage Hill won a tough four-set road CIF Southern Section Division 3 quarterfinal against No. 8 seed Saddleback Valley Christian, 25-16, 21-25, 25-18, 25-21.

Jade Blevins delivered a standout performance with 42 assists, three kills, four aces, and four blocks. Senior Jamie Dailey and sophomore Amiyah De’Long each had 14 kills, and sophomore opposite Sydnee Francis delivered 12. Seniors Sahar Rohani and Sarah Lowey led the defense with 17 and 11 digs respectively.

Sage Hill (23-10) will be on the road again, battling No. 4 seed St. Joseph’s.
