High School Roundup: DJ Rodman goes for 39 points

MARIN — Sophomore DJ Rodman scored 39 points in the Sea Kings’ opener of the 21st annual Bambauer Classic at Marin Catholic High on Tuesday.

Kevin Kobrine added 11 points for CdM (9-3), which plays against Brentwood Heritage at 3:30 p.m. at Marin Catholic High.

GIRLS’ BASKETBALL

Sage Hill 65, Tri-City 43

VISTA — Heather Park scored 19 points for the Lightning to open the Tri-City Tournamet at Tri-City High on Tuesday.

Kenna Knollenberg scored 13 points and Kate Knollenberg added nine points for Sage HIll (5-5).

Park had five three-pointers.

Sage HIll plays against Burbank Providence at Guajome Park Academy in Vista.
