CREEDMOOR, NC — Zach Blaine scored 16 points to lead the Sailors in a first-round game of the seventh annual South Granville tournament on Wednesday.

Dayne Chalmers added 14 points for Newport Harbor (9-5), which plays against Riverside Durham in a second-round game on Thursday.

Heritage 57, Corona del Mar 52

MARIN — Sophomore DJ Rodman scored 22 points to lead the Sea Kings in a second-round game of the 21st annual Bambauer Classic at Marin Catholic High on Tuesday.

CdM (9-4) trailed, 43-29, after three quarters. Kevin Kobrine added 13 points. The Sea Kings next face Redwood in the tournament on Wednesday.

GIRLS’ BASKETBALL

Sage Hill 32, Holy Martyrs 15

VISTA – Heather Park scored 15 points for the Lightning in a Tri-City Tournament game on Wednesday.

Trinity Cha added seven points for Sage Hill (6-5).
