Mikayla Edwards added a goal for Edison, which plays at Fountain Valley on Thursday at 3 p.m.

Pacifica Christian 4, Serra 1

Sophomore Sadie Hill had three goals and an assist for the Tritons in Tuesday’s nonleague game.

Freshman Maggie O’Callaghan also scored and Alyssa Smith had two assists for Pacifica Christian (8-1).

Crean Lutheran 2, Sage Hill 1

IRVINE — Sydney McCord scored a second-half goal, assisted by Maya Roston, for the Lightning in Tuesday’s Academy League opener at Crean Lutheran.

Goalie Sarah Lowey made a save for Sage Hill (3-4-1, 0-1 in league), which plays host to Calvary Chapel Downey on Friday.

GIRLS’ BASKETBALL

Sage Hill 64, Crean Lutheran 39

Sophomore guard Heather Park poured in 24 points to lead the Lightning to victory in their league opener.

Kate Knollenberg added 13 points on three three-pointers, and Kenna Knollenberg poured in 10 points.

Sage Hill (8-6, 1-0) connected made a total of 10 shots from three-point range to down the Saints (4-6, 0-1).
