Trush earns All-America recognition

UC Irvine’s Jack Trush has earned All-America Honorable Mention recognition from the Assn. of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches for the 2016 season.

Trush, a sophomore out of Corona del Mar High School, led the Anteaters in scoring this season with 47 goals.

He had a career-high five goals twice, including against San Jose State in a 14-13, overtime win at the Golden Coast Conference Tournament Nov. 19.

Trush is the 28th player to receive All-America recognition for Coach Marc Hunt in 12 seasons at UCI.
