Track & Field: UCI’s Sicard denied

EUGENE, Ore. — UC Irvine 110-meter high hurdler Lloyd Sicard finished seventh in his preliminary heat and was eliminated at the U.S. Olympic Track and Field Trials on Friday at the University of Oregon.

Sicard, who will be a senior in the fall, finished in 14.03 seconds at historic Hayward Field.

The Big West Conference Athlete of the Year in men’s track in 2016, Sicard has won the last two Big West titles in the event.
