First-ever Disney Store marks 28 years at Galleria

The Disney Store in the Glendale Galleria, the first Disney Store to ever open, turns 28 on Saturday, and to celebrate nearly three decades in the mall, the business will be giving away prizes and hosting various activities throughout the day.

In honor of the store being open since March 28, 1987, the first 28 customers will each receive a free gift. Also, guests can dance and sing during the Cast Member JAMboree, which will take place the 28th minute of every hour.

There are currently 200 Disney Stores in North America.
