James B. Sheffield
James Sheffield was a longtime Burbank resident, a Burbank firefighter and Union President. James and wife, Charlotte, resided in Burbank where they raised a family of five children, James, Rosemary, Robert, Margaret, and Helen.
James was in the First Marine Division. He went through Guadalcanal and Okinawa during World War II. As a Burbank firefighter, he received accommodation from President Eisenhower on a rescue call where he successfully resuscitated British General Montgomery.
Services at 10:15 on Friday, August 5th at St. Robert Bellarmine Church in Burbank.
