Holiday spirit arrives tonight

MONTROSE -- The Christmas Parade is coming to Montrose tonight, and

bringing with it Santa Claus on a helicopter and about 100 groups in a

festive parade.

The Montrose Glendale Christmas Parade -- which is marking its 25th

year tonight -- starts shortly after 6 p.m. along Honolulu Avenue between

Rosemont Avenue and Verudgo Road.

Parking in the area is on a first-come, first-serve basis, with

Broadview being closed and vehicle access to Honolulu Avenue blocked

starting at 3 p.m.
