A Glendale woman pleaded not guilty on Wednesday to shooting a man
believed to be her husband during a domestic quarrel.
Tangelia Blount, 35, is suspected of shooting Dominick Blount, 34,
twice in the neck Aug. 12 at an apartment complex in the 300 block
of West Doran Street.
Police, responding to 911 calls from neighbors reporting arguing
and gunfire, arrived at the complex to find the wounded man in the
street in front of the complex near the intersection of Central
Avenue.
Blount is being held at Twin Towers Correctional Facility on more
than $2 million bail.
She is set to return to court in Burbank for a preliminary hearing
on Sept. 6.
