Transient men accused of attempted burglary
NORTHWEST GLENDALE -- Two transient men arrested on suspicion of
casing garages in one Glendale neighborhood were scheduled to face
attempted burglary charges Friday.
Antonio Fuentes Perez, 28, and Daniel Bravo, 23, were arrested
Wednesday on suspicion of possessing a pair of bolt cutters and a
chipped screwdriver after a neighbor called police to report two men
were looking inside several garages in the 700 block of Milford
Street, according to a police report.
Perez and Bravo were being held at Glendale City Jail on $50,000
bail and were scheduled to be arraigned Friday.
Police officers detained the two men, but as they were being
handcuffed, Bravo broke free and ran away, according to the report.
He was found about 15 minutes later, hiding in a tool shed behind
a house in the 600 block of Myrtle Street.
