High Temp Metals 10, Glendale Firemen’s Club 0: Lonnie Kauppila
pitched a perfect game and sparked High Temp to its fourth shutout
this season. Kauppila pitched six innings, recording 16 strikeouts.
Kauppila added two hits, including his fifth home run of the
season. Trevor Boynton had three hits and Cole Kendall added two for
High Temp.
Tae Ha and Andrew Fisher also had a hit apiece for High Temp,
which clinched a tie for the first half championship.
Trotta Floor Coverings 12, Glendale Firemen’s Club 7: R.J. Keenan
had a team-high three hits for the Trotta Floor Coverings, which
received two hits apiece from Vigen Nersesian, Kyle Booth and David
Olmedo-Barrera.
Joey Sedano and Bradley Herrod each had a hit for Trotta.
The Fireman’s Club was led by Mike Bako, who hit his second home
run of the season. Nathan Grau, Trent Ward and Jason Lev each had a
hit.
Landry’s Sporting Goods 13, Glendale Police 2: Landry’s Sporting
Goods was led by Kyle Cota, who had a home run and a double. Troy
Mulcahey, Nick Dragovich and Nate Rousey had two hits for Landry’s,
which received a hit each from Drew Hoogenhuizen, Adam Overgaard,
Joey Torres and Nicholas Jauffret.
The Glendale Police received a hit from Bobby Coffin, Joshua
Torrez and Brian McGuigan.
High Temp Metals 11, Glendale City Employees 2: Danny Ramos had
four hits for the High Temp Metals. Cole Kendall, Tyler Martinez and
Dakota Tavizon also had hits for High Temp.
City Employees got two hits from Joe Primo and one from Brendan
Mulligan.
Landry’s Sporting Goods 6, Gangi Builders 1: Nick Dragovich was
the winning pitcher, combining with Troy Mulcahey for 11 strikeouts.
Keith Jackson and Adam Overgaard had two hits each for Landry’s,
which got a hit each from Mulcahey and Kyle Cota. Anthony Tellache
had the only hit for the Gangi Builders.
Glendale Firemen’s Club 7, Gangi Builders 4: Adam Dasaad and Mike
Bako were the leading hitters for Glendale with two hits apiece.
Nathan Grau, Trent Ward and Matt Cannata each had a hit for the
Glendale Firemen’s Club.
Gangi Builders got two hits from Martin Rivera and Alex Reid.
Chase Malone and Anthony Tellache each had a hit for the Gangi
Builders.
Trotta Floor Coverings 12, Glendale Police 4: Tyler Schloessman
keyed Trotta’s offense with two doubles. Kyle Booth and Daniel Olson
each had two singles and Joey Sedano added a hit.
The Police got two hits from Bobby Coffin and Matthew Eman and one
from Kyle Pomeroy.
Trotta Floor Coverings 11, Glendale City Employees 8: Bradley
Herrod and David Olmedo-Barrera combined for 11 strikeouts for Trotta
Floor Coverings. Olmedo-Barrera also keyed Trotta’s offense with
three hits and a game-winning double in the sixth inning.
Trotta also had key hits by Herod, Kyle Booth, Chris Suh, R.J.
Keenan and Joey Sedano. Joe Primo and Richie Maloof combined for 10
strikeouts and also had a team-high two hits for the Glendale City
Employees.
Brendan Mulligan, Brandon Bateman, Joshua Alcade, Ryan Fitzgibbon,
Michael Duncan and Dylan Hoffman each had a hit for City Employees.
T-Ball Softball
Critters 20, Joselitos 15: Sydney House hit a grand slam and
played well defensively for the Critters. Michelle Partridge, Lily
Kaufman, Kelly Brundige, Natalie Haggar and Riley Chambers all had
hits and reached base 11 times.
Kaylan Rothrock, Lauren Peterson and Hannah Cookson had three hits
and combined to score eight runs. Kalie Robie pitched strongly for
the Critters.
Critters 15, JDL 6: Kalie Robie and Hannah Cookson held JDL to six
runs in five innings. Sydney House, Samantha Meyer, Kelly Brundige,
Riley Chambers, Natalie Haggar, Lily Kaufman, Kali Savona and
Michelle Partridge all played well for the Critters.

Mustang Baseball Division
Thomason Landscaping Trees 8, Burger King Whoppers 5: Conor
Frederick had three hits and scored two runs for Thomason Landscaping
Trees. Starting pitcher Brandon Van Horn struck out seven and gave up
one hit in three innings. Burger King Whoppers pitcher Elliot Surrey
struck out eight and drove in three runs.
Clutch Masters 12, Solis Law 3: Solid pitching by Mark Verso,
Wolfgang Ehrgott and Cameron Williams paced Clutch Masters. Verso
added a home run. Williams had two put outs, and Elliot Wilson and
Dale Urbelis had key defensive plays.
Clutch Masters 6, Burger King Whoppers 5: Mark Verso, Wolfgang
Ehrgott and Cameron Williams had another strong pitching performance
for Clutch Masters. Verso also had a home run in the win. Burger
King’s Tommy Gustovich threw out consecutive runners attempting to
steal second base.
Beatrice Harendza Real Estate 14, Magic Bias 6: Patrick Adams had
two hits, including a triple for Beatrice Harendza Real Estate.
Thomason Landscaping Trees 9, Clutch Masters 3: Ryan Perdew, Fredy
Prieto and Brandon Van Horn each scored two runs for the Thomason
Landscaping Trees.
Van Horn hit a home run and recorded nine strikeouts in three
innings. Wolfgang Ehrgott had eight strikeouts in three innings for
the Clutch Masters.
Pinto Division
Solis Law 5, Herbert Insurance 4: Strong hitting from Joshua Cook,
Kyle Thomas, Austin Brines and Owen Solis paced Solis Law. Cook and
Thomas provided good pitching performances.
Hawkes Graphics 12, Solis Law 6: Hawkes Graphics scored 12
first-inning runs. Jeremy DeKruyf pitched well for Hawkes Graphics.
