French students recognized by Alliance Francaise de Pasadena

Local students who have excelled in the study of French will be recognized by the Alliance Francaise de Pasadena on May 27 in a ceremony at Mayfield Senior School.

Winners of the Alliance contest stressing fluency are: Cicely Chen of Polytechnic School, first place; Katherine Thompson of Flintridge Preparatory, second place; Jason Nagata of Monterey Park of Polytechnic School, third place; Katherine Jarvis of Alverno High School, fourth place; honorable mention: Caroline Furman of Flintridge Prep and Jessika Herrera of Alverno High School.

Certificates will be given students named as best of the year by their respective schools: Katherine Jarvis and Caroline Furman, Carol Huang of Arcadia High School; Marvin Roatsch, of Crescenta Valley High; Erica Sinnott of Mayfield Senior School; Allison Switzer of Muir High School and Casey Zuber of Polytechnic School.
