CVHS Prom Plus Announces Events

Crescenta Valley High School’s Prom Plus committee is holding an open house barbecue on Wednesday, April 11. Beginning at 6 p.m., CV open house attendees can buy a hamburger, hot dog or sausage meal including chips and a drink, for just $5. Since there are only a limited number of meals available, it is recommended that reservations be made by e-mailing Robin Goldsworthy at prrobin@juno.com.

On Sunday, April 22, Prom Plus is hosting the first Taste of Montrose. From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., guests will have the opportunity to enjoy a “taste” of some of the best restaurants in the area. Participating restaurants include, but are not limited to, New Moon, Rocky Cola, Java Brew, Quiznos, Melt, Berolina Bakery, Frank’s Famous, Ocean View Bar & Grill, and Gouda & Vines. The event is held in conjunction with the weekly Harvest Market held on Honolulu Avenue. Tickets are only $20 and are available at Crescenta Valley High School, the UPS stores in Montrose and La Crescenta, Merle Norman Cosmetics, and the Montrose and Crescenta Valley Chambers of Commerce as well as through Prom Plus committee members.
