South Pasadena crime blotter: Resident exposes genitals to delivery worker

April 24

Theft: 400 block of Hermosa Place, 7:30 a.m. or earlier. Purse taken from car.

Residential burglary: 1300 block of Elm Park Street, after 1:30 p.m. Window smashed, jewelry and cash taken.

April 25

Fraud: 100 block of Oak Street, 9 a.m. Victim takes call from man claiming to be a grandson who has been arrested. Victim sends money as requested, later learns grandson was not arrested.

ID theft: 1900 block of Meridian Avenue: Suspect opens cellphone account with another person’s identification information.

April 26

Robbery: 1401 Mission Street, 11:30 a.m. Man enters Vana Watch & Jewelry, asks to see two Rolex watches, grabs them and runs. Employee pursues and tackles suspect, who claims to have a gun. Employee backs off. Watches recovered.

Indecent exposure: 400 block of El Coronado Street, 11:30 a.m. Resident exposes genitals several times to delivery worker.

Theft: 716 Fair Oaks Avenue, 5:25 p.m.: An iPad is stolen from McDonald’s customer.

ID theft: 1900 block of Meridian Avenue: Suspect opens two credit card accounts with another person’s identification information.

April 27

Theft: 1600 Oak Street, 4 p.m. South Pasadena Middle School student takes iPhone from another student’s backpack. Suspect later turns over damaged iPhone, agrees to reimburse victim.

April 28

Theft: 1900 block of Huntington Drive, after 2:30 p.m. Gas cap broken and fuel siphoned from car.

April 30

Theft: Orange Grove Avenue at Orange Grove Terrace, 1:10 p.m. Leaf blowers and Weed Eater taken from bed of truck.

Theft arrest: 1800 block of Peterson Avenue. South Pasadena resident whose washer and dryer were stolen on March 28 identifies car allegedly involved at Los Angeles address. Detectives arrest vehicle owner, 23, of Los Angeles, for outstanding warrants, possession of drug paraphernalia.

May 1

Commercial burglary: 1510 Mission Street, 5:55 p.m. Man enters Dinosaur Farm when employee is in back, opens cash register, takes cash and runs.
