Glendale police schedule DUI checkpoint for Saturday
A sobriety checkpoint is scheduled for Saturday at an undisclosed neighborhood in Glendale, police said.
Officers at the checkpoint, which starts at 6:30 p.m., will be looking for motorists who are driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol and for anyone who is driving without a proper license.
Earlier this month during a saturation patrol police arrested four motorists on suspicion of DUI.
A driver who is convicted of DUI can expect to pay hefty fines and have their license suspended.
The checkpoint is funded through a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety.
