‘Demo Day’ Set for Scholl Canyon Tennis Club

Ron Zambrano, the Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy and St. Francis High tennis coach, and Racket Doctor, Inc., will host a free “Demo Day” at Scholl Canyon Tennis Club on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Representatives from tennis manufacturers Wilson, Babolat and Head will demonstrate the latest racquets and equipment for players of all ages and abilities. Participants will be invited to try out racquets on the Scholl courts under simulated playing conditions.
There will also be demonstrations of pickleball, a mix of tennis, badminton and table tennis.
Zambrano, the reigning All-Area Girls’ Tennis Coach of the Year, along with tennis pros Jerry Goldstein, Joseph Kim, Mike Johnson and Anthony Lee, will provide information regarding lessons and other services at Scholl, the largest racket complex in Glendale. The facility is located adjacent to Scholl Canyon Golf Course, 3800 E. Glenoaks Blvd. in Glendale.
