Ascencia joins ‘Love is a Blanket’ donation effort

The annual drive called Love is a Blanket is accepting donations of new or gently used — and washed — blankets to be distributed to the homeless during the winter months. One of the distribution sites is Ascencia, 1851 Tyburn St., Glendale.

A drop-off box for blanket donations can be found at Allstate Insurance, 1219 S. Glendale Ave., Glendale.

The drive also has an Amazon Wish List, where residents can select and check out blankets on a list and send them directly to the drive. The list can be viewed at tinyurl.com/LIAWBAmazon.
