Man fatally struck by train in Glendale
A man was killed Tuesday afternoon after getting struck by a Metrolink passenger train in Glendale, police said.
Glendale police were called to the scene, reported at San Fernando Road and Sonora Avenue, at 12:25 p.m., according to Glendale Police Sgt. Ernesto Gaxiola.
Traffic investigators at the scene are waiting for Los Angeles County coroner’s officials to arrive, as of shorly after 3 p.m., said Glendale Police spokeswoman Tahnee Lightfoot.
Further details were not immediately available.
