2 arrested after police chase through H.B. and Westminster
Two men were arrested Friday night after a brief pursuit through Huntington Beach and Westminster during which two other vehicles were damaged, authorities said.
The pursuit began near Heil Avenue and Goldenwest Street about 8 p.m. when officers attempted to pull over an SUV, said Huntington Beach Police Sgt. Toby Archer.
Authorities caught up to the two men when their vehicle hit a curb and came to a stop, Archer said. They attempted to run but were caught near Goldenwest Street and Westminster Avenue in Westminster, the sergeant added.
No one was injured during the chase, but the men’s SUV hit two vehicles, which had to be towed away.
He said more detailed information was not immediately available.
