Huntington is ranked sixth in CIF Southern Section Division 1AA.

Edison, ranked 10th, went to 6-2 in league. Both league losses are to the Oilers, who won by sweep in the teams’ first meeting Oct. 8.

“It was a great team effort,” Huntington Coach Craig Pazanti said. “We had some key contributions from several players that led to this win.

“Edison came out fired up, and we never really found our rhythm, but we found a way to come up with some big plays in the fifth set. I’m super proud of the girls, and how they responded when pushed.”
