High school seniors invited to apply for Thursday Club scholarships

High school seniors who live in the city of La Cañada Flintridge or who live in other communities but attend school in La Cañada are invited to apply by Monday, Feb. 24, for a scholarship awarded by the Thursday Club.

Those awarded a Foundation Scholarship will be selected for their academic achievement, community service and potential for success, according to club officials. The Denise Greenawalt Scholarship recipients will have demonstrated not only academic achievement but also “triumph over an obstacle, hardship or extenuating circumstance and potential for success.”
