Crime: Woman allegedly steals salt and cashews from Home Goods

Aug. 25
Shoplifting: 935 Foothill Blvd., 12:33 p.m. A woman was arrested for allegedly stealing a container of salt and a bag of cashews from Home Goods.
Aug. 24
Attempted burglary: 200 block of Berkshire Avenue, between 7:30 and 9:30 a.m. Door lock broken on vehicle.
Aug. 23
Shoplifting: 2 Sport Chalet Drive, 3:30 p.m. A 21-year-old La Cañada Flintridge man was arrested after allegedly stealing a shirt, tank top and khaki pants from Sport Chalet.
Aug. 21-22
Vehicle burglary: 5300 block of Linda Vista Drive, between 5 p.m. on Aug. 21 and 10 a.m. on Aug. 22. The front passenger-door window was broken on a vehicle.
Aug. 21
Residential burglary: 4500 block of Hillard Avenue, between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. A tablet computer and two rings were stolen from a home.

Aug. 20
Petty theft: 2400 block of Foothill Boulevard, between 5 and 8 p.m. Bulletin boards were stolen from the building’s management office.
Aug. 19
Petty theft: 2300 block of Mountain Avenue, between 10:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. Twelve rubber traffic cones were stolen from in front of Mountain Avenue Elementary.
Aug. 12-14
Forgery: 3500 block of Henrietta Avenue. Three fraudulent checks were cashed using a resident’s checking account number.
