Blake Griffin, Chris Paul among 10 most popular NBA jerseys
Both of the Clippers’ superstars, Blake Griffin and Chris Paul, are among the top 10 most popular NBA jerseys from April through June.
Griffin has the eighth most popular jersey, while Paul has the 10th. Golden State Warriors’ Steph Curry was No. 1, while Cleveland Cavaliers’ LeBron James came in at No. 2.
The Clippers also ranked seventh in the league in most popular team merchandise from April through June.
After beating the San Antonio Spurs in the first round of the playoffs, the Clippers were on the verge of reaching the Western Conference Finals for the first time in their 45-year history.
They had a 3-1 lead over the Houston Rockets in the second round before losing their next three games to allow the Rockets to become the ninth team in history to recover from such a deficit.
