Too good to be true: Dodgers to give away Tommy Lasorda garden gnome

OK, see if you can get your mind around this one. Thinking it might not be too difficult.
The Dodgers released their 2015 promotional schedule on Tuesday, complete with the usual assortment of bobbleheads (10), Hello Kitty and pin giveaways, plus the return of the Hollywood Stars game (that you would hope might actually feature a couple of stars).
But the kicker comes May 25 when the Dodgers will give away a … Tommy Lasorda garden gnome!
He, uh, has the correct physique. Guess they’ll have to find him a blue pointed hat. Add the beard and the pipe, and you have a garden gnome that can double as a scarecrow.
The Hollywood Stars game is scheduled to return June 6. The Old-Timers game, which returned last season, is back on May 16. The pin series will feature team Cy Young Award winners. Players for the bobblehead series have yet to be named.
Also returning are Friday Night Fireworks and Sunday’s Viva Los Dodgers.
