The Dodgers lost half of their one-two pitching punch -- at least for the time being -- with Zack Greinke opting out of his contract with three years and $71 million remaining.

Now it's up to the Dodgers to decide how far they're willing to go to bring back Greinke and allow him and Clayton Kershaw to continue to terrorize opponents for years to come.

But just how many years to come are we talking about? Well, that might be the biggest issue when contract talks get started.

Greinke is 32. The Times' Bill Shaikin reports that the Dodgers are not expected to be interested in a contract that would extend into his late 30s. But nothing's stopping another team from doing so.

So what kind of offer would you make to bring back Greinke? Three years? Five years? More?

Or would you not even bother and turn your focus to other free-agent pitchers, such as David Price or Johnny Cueto, and other areas of need?

Vote in our poll and let us know.
