Dodgers add another bullpen arm in Louis Coleman
The Dodgers have added another arm to their bullpen stockpile, reaching a one-year deal with right-handed reliever Louis Coleman, the player’s agency announced Thursday evening.
Coleman, 29, appeared in four games with Kansas City in 2015. He spent the majority of the season in triple-A, where he posted a 1.69 ERA and 63 strikeouts in 64 innings.
Coleman entered the 2014 season as a member of the Royals bullpen but lost his spot as the season went along. He did not pitch for the team in either of its playoff runs the last two years.
Coleman did finish the 2013 season with a 0.61 ERA in 29 2/3 innings for Kansas City.
