Boys’ basketball: Vejas Anaya is new coach at Palisades
Vejas Anaya, a former Palisades basketball player, has been hired to replace longtime Coach James Paleno as head coach.
Anaya served as an assistant to Paleno and also has coached the freshman-sophomore team.
Paleno was head coach for 22 years.
