Baseball: Zach Sanchez leads Mission Viejo past Beckman

Mission Viejo handed Beckman its first defeat in baseball on Saturday with a 6-2 victory.

Zach Sanchez had a home run and three RBIs.

Redondo 3, Ocean View 2: Luke Sullivan threw four shutout innings of relief to help Redondo improve to 4-0. Jason Dicochea had a double and triple.

Corona Santiago 8, Puyallup 1: Ryan Williams and Brice Turang each had three hits for Santiago.

Cypress 6, Bishop Amat 1: Dominic Fletcher contributed three hits to lead Cypress.

Servite 2-2, Anaheim Canyon 0-1: Aaron Simpson had sixth multi-hit game of the season in the doubleheader sweep.

Calabasas 5, Simi Valley 2: Diego Ramirez struck out six in five innings.

Hart 9, El Segundo 4: Robert Reeves had three hits to lead a 15-hit attack.

Etiwanda 16, Montclair 1: Chris Jimenez and Tyler Bardowell each had three hits.

Bishop Gorman 3, Santa Margarita 2: Chandler Champlain struck out six in six innings for Santa Margarita in the first game. Cole Heslar had two RBIs.

Capistrano Valley 5-3, Fountain Valley 1-4: Connor Martin went three for four and Zak Herbers allowed three hits in six innings for Capistrano Valley. Travis Burleson had two hits and two RBIs in the second game for Fountain Valley.

Vista Murrieta 2, Arlington 1: Brandon Luna had two hits for Vista Murrieta.

Temescal Canyon 13, Eisenhower 2: Tyler Hardman went four for four.
