Boys’ basketball: Chaminade faces the challenge of containing Quinton Adlesh
Watch out, Jeremy Lin. There’s a new potential star arriving in the Ivy League next season, but he’s not going to Harvard. Quinton Adlesh, a senior guard at San Luis Obispo Mission Prep, is headed to Columbia.
Chaminade will have to stop him on Friday night in a Southern Section Division 4AA semifinal game at Mission Prep.
“He’s one of the best we’ve seen,” Chaminade Coach Todd Wolfson said.
Adlesh had 44 points in his team’s quarterfinal win over Harvard-Westlake. He’s had games of 33 points against Campbell Hall, 50 against St. Joseph and 27 against Lompoc.
“He doesn’t quit,” Wolfson said. “He’s got a motor.”
